Twenty-six-year-old Lance corporal Daniel P. DeSpain is on his second tour of Iraq. A friend of DeSpain shot this photo as they were riding in the back of a military vehicle near Camp Fallujah, Iraq. DeSpain, who is a 1997 graduate of Baldwin High School and a 2001 graduate of Baker University, is with the 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment. He and his wife have a daughter.
