With his large hands framing his championship belt buckle, Dan Matile lies in his casket with five Jack Daniels playing cards tucked under his palms. The 83-year old longtime Chase County cowboy died earlier this month in Cottonwood Falls and, according to his son Gene, loved to play Pitch.
